2/6/12 Bible Study begins Mercy Triumphs by Beth Moore. This study is based on the book of JAMES and will take you on a journey to get to know the man and the book. James examines concepts such as joy, hardship, faith, reversal of fortunes for the rich and the poor, wisdom, gifts from above, and many more. It also introduces a new five-tiered Bible study approach which allows you to choose how deep you want to go in your study commitment. It will last 8 weeks and meet on Monday evenings at 6:30 p.m.at Lakeside Christian Church. Books will cost $15. Sign up on the Girlfriends board to order your book and reserve a space.
3/2/12 Spa Night Join us for an evening of Relaxation, Refreshment and Rejuvenation. Sign up for a full body massage*, treat yourself to a hand, foot or scalp massage, enjoy a facial, freshen up your hairstyle, paint your nails, learn about Reflexology, or just relax and gab with friends. Come and experience the fun with Girlfriends. Bring a friend or two! Suggested donation is $2 per person to cover expenses. Look forward to the ever famous smoothies and Chocolate fountain!
Service project: Bring a new or gently used spiritual or physical pampering item to donate to a local women’s shelter. i.e.: devotional book, body lotion, journal, nail polish, etc.
5/12/12 3rd annual Brunch Lakeside Girlfriends, whether young or life experienced, single or married, moms or daughters, sisters, or friend, This morning is for you. This is a great way to introduce your family and friends to Lakeside. About 25 Girlfriends will transform church tables into beautiful dining experiences. Brunch will be served, you will be inspired by a guest speaker and you will have time to enjoy the relationships that God has blessed you with.
