Special Events (V.I.P.) Ministry. The V.I.P. Ministry team helps all people, especially strangers, "experience" God's love and hospitality.
- Kid Surge Meals (setup, cooking, cleanup for Wednesday night program)
- Funeral Dinners (setup, cooking, cleanup)
- Weddings (setup, coordinate, decorate, assist bridal parties)
- Cookouts (setup, grilling, organization, cleaning)
- Hospitality (open/close building for special events including elections, blood drives, weddings, funerals, funeral dinners, parties, meetings, conferences, family meals, and more) *This sometimes includes compensation
- Pantry (organize, label, maintain, clean, etc.)
- Appliances (clean, maintain)
- Plants and Flowers (care and feeding of indoor plants)
- Ushering (welcome and seat guests, prepare and serve communion, receive offering)
- Open and Unlock Facilities (this role sometimes includes compensation)

Guest Services/ Sunday Gatherings. The guest services team helps every guest feels welcomed at Lakeside.
- Greeting (welcome guests)
- Children's Check-In (help parents check in their children, direct them to chidlren's areas)
- Coffee Bar (prepare coffee, drinks, and other refreshments)
- Ushering (seat guests, prepare and serve communion, receive offering)
- First Impressions (touch up restooms, sanctuary, and lobby area on Sunday mornings)

Communications. The communication team works vigilantly to provide accurate and timely information about Lakeside events and opportunities.
- Desktop Publishing (newsletters, brochures, signs, fliers, banners-- we use Microsoft Publisher and Adobe Photoshop)
- Website (update calendars, page content, sermons, etc.)
- Social Media (update Facebook, Myspace, Twitter, etc.)
- Constant Contact (prepare weekly e-newsletters)
- Promotion (contact radio stations, newspapers, distribute fliers)
- Signage (update marquee for special events)

Safety. The safety team works vigilantly to provide a safe and secure environment for everyone participating in Lakeside activities.
- First Aid (maintain first aid kits, CPR, operate defibrillator, respond to emergencies at church events)
- Safety Team (fire, evacuation, weather, intruder, security, theft)
