In a series focused on change, it is easy to think that change comes from pulling ourselves up by our bootstraps. We are here to tell you: abandon that way of thinking right now. No amount of self-help or self-achievement will make us into the kind of new creations God desires.
Thank goodness, God provides a better way. The Bible says, “if anyone is in Christ, he/she is a new creation: The old has gone, the new has come!” True freedom comes through Christ Jesus, while deep and lasting change comes through the work of the Holy Spirit.
