Life can be overwhelming. In a short span of time, Kelly faced countless challenges. Her mother got sick. Her dad suffered congestive heart failure, developed dementia, and was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. As Kelly moved her parents into her dining room to care for them, her husband got a job transfer to Springfield. So in addition to caring for her parents, she had to make plans to move their family and help their kids get acclimated to a new school system. As they prepared to move, however, Kelly discovered she has breast cancer and would need a double mastectomy. At the same time, her mother is diagnosed with colon cancer and had to be moved to hospice. As Kelly recovered from cancer and mourns the loss of her mother, she learns her sister has cancer.
