Celebrating Adrian McCarty's 32 years of Teaching!

Adrian McCarty is retiring from teaching Lakeside's 4th and 5th Graders after 32 years of weekly service! Adrian had generations of souls pass through his class, allowing, in some cases, for both parents and children to have the same teacher. That is truly amazing! We thank Adrian for his 32-year-offering of time to Lakeside's Elementary Ministry. We know God will continue to use him here at Lakeside Christian Church in the lives of both parents and children! Lakeside at Lee Elementary School

We absolutely LOVE our partnership with Lee Elementary School! Lakeside has had the honor to work with Lee Elementary in a variety of ways this year. Weekly, we have the privilege of working with Lee Elementary in a mentorship program, where Lakesiders work with students to practice reading, have conversation, and provide stability for students. We have DOUBLED our efforts from last year and have twice the amount of volunteers come out for weekly mentorship! Monthly, we are able to pour into teachers and supplement their meetings with gifts, encouraging notes, and, of course, homemade snacks. On top of this we have implemented an Adopt-A-Class Program this year with Lee School where Lakeside Groups and Lee classrooms are paired up together. In this Lakeside Groups get to work directly with a teacher and a classroom to focus on personal relationships, provide direct support for classrooms/teachers, and act monthly in a tangible service opportunity. This has been an AMAZING program, one that provides support and encouragement for the teachers and students at Lee Elementary! If you have any interest in working with the amazing staff and students at Lee Elementary, contact Olivia at for more information. There are so many people to know, ways to serve, and love to give! Let's bless our community! Read more
