Lakeside has had the great privilege to celebrate teachers and staff at Lee Elementary recently during Teacher Appreciation Week! We have loved pouring out encouragement, snacks, and gifts as we celebrate all that they do at Lee and how they impact the lives of their students daily. The week started off with Lakeside setting up a place where students can write down what they appreciate most about staff and teachers at Lee throughout the week. They stick these notes of appreciation of a wall where teachers can pick them up throughout the week and know how much they are appreciated! Additionally, we got to give Lee some delicious donuts to start the week off right, because they really donut know how much we appreciate them! (It’s a pun) Throughout the week, we saw small groups step up and support and encourage their teachers through notes and gifts. We were able to provide snacks and a party for teachers during their weekly meetings. On top of that, we were able to give Starbucks gift cards to teachers for a boost of energy as the year comes to a close! We love celebrating our teachers, staff, and friends at Lee!
